We're the educators, creators, and co-founders behind Enchanted Sol Academy.
With a shared passion for literacy, creativity, and meaningful learning experiences, we've dedicated our careers to helping children build confidence, develop essential skills, and discover the joy of learning.
Our mission is simple: to create engaging educational resources that inspire children to read, explore, create, and grow.
Before there were Adventure Passports...

Before Enchanted Sol Academy...
There were two teachers.
Two friends.
Two dreamers.
Who believed children deserved more than worksheets and test scores.
They deserved adventures.
Where It All Began
It all began in a classroom.
Cristina and Lindsay met when Lindsay was completing her student teaching in Texas after moving from Ohio. Cristina had made a similar journey years earlier, leaving Indiana to begin her own teaching career in Texas. That shared experience of starting over in a new place created an early connection.
The following school year, Lindsay was hired as a fourth-grade English Reading and Writing teacher while Cristina taught bilingual fourth-grade Reading and Writing. It was one of the most challenging years either of them would experience. A new superintendent introduced sweeping instructional changes. Teachers were expected to redesign the way they planned lessons, wrote objectives, and demonstrated student learning.
Lindsay was overwhelmed.
Cristina made her a promise.
"This year, your job is to learn how to teach. I'll build the lessons, create our systems, and model our instruction. You focus on your students."
That year shaped both of them. They discovered something that would define every school they would ever work in. Strong systems create space for great teaching. From that point forward, they became a team.
Whenever they interviewed for a new campus, they were honest with principals:Â "We come as a package."Â Over the years, they taught together across elementary and middle school classrooms, worked under inspiring leaders, navigated difficult leadership changes, celebrated department distinctions, survived COVID, coached teachers, and continually refined the systems that helped students succeed.
Each new campus became another laboratory. Every lesson was revised. Every unit improved. Every challenge became another opportunity to ask: "How can we make learning better?"
For years, those conversations continued outside of school.
During summers...
Spring Breaks...
Christmas Breaks...
Road trips...
Coffee shops...
Living rooms...
The same dream kept returning.
"What if we could build the kinds of learning experiences we always wished families had?"
Enchanted Sol Academy became the answer.
Today, the systems that once supported two classroom teachers now support families everywhere. Our Adventure Guides are built on the same philosophy that shaped our partnership years ago:

Meet Cristina
Hi! I'm Cristina—co-founder of Enchanted Sol Academy, visionary, educator, curriculum creator, lifelong learner, and passionate believer that education has the power to change lives.
My love for learning began long before I ever stepped into a classroom. It began with generations of people who believed that courage, education, service, and hard work could create opportunities for future generations.
I was born and raised in South Bend, Indiana, after my mother made the courageous decision to start over in a new city with her young daughters. She had little formal education and very few resources, but she gave our family something even more valuable—an unwavering example of perseverance, sacrifice, and hope. Watching her build a new life taught me that some of life's greatest lessons aren't found in textbooks—they're found in the courage to keep moving forward.
My father grew up as a farm worker before becoming a community organizer who dedicated his life to advocating for farm workers and serving others. From him, I learned that our work should always make life better for someone else. Service isn't simply something we do—it's part of who we are.
Another priceless gift my father gave our family was the Spanish language. Although I didn't always appreciate it as a child, learning Spanish became one of the greatest blessings of my life. After earning my bachelor's degree from Indiana University, I spent six months living in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, where I became fluent and developed an even deeper appreciation for the way language connects people, cultures, and communities. That experience continues to inspire the Spanish Through Stories curriculum we are creating at Enchanted Sol Academy.
I am entering my 22nd year in education and have had the privilege of teaching students in grades 3–8, including many years as an elementary bilingual teacher. Throughout my career, I've discovered that children learn best when learning feels meaningful, joyful, and connected to the real world.
At Enchanted Sol Academy, I serve as our curriculum creator and educational visionary. Every adventure, every book study, every project, and every challenge is designed with one hope in mind: that children will discover a love of learning, believe in their own potential, and leave the world a little brighter than they found it.
As a mother, educator, and lifelong learner, I believe every great adventure begins with a story—and I can't wait to be part of your family's story.

Meet Lindsay
Hi! I'm Lindsay—co-founder of Enchanted Sol Academy, mother, educator, lifelong learner, and someone who believes every child has the potential to shine.
For fifteen years, I've had the joy of teaching and learning alongside incredible students. Throughout my years in education, I've discovered that the most meaningful learning doesn't happen when children simply memorize information—it happens when they become curious, ask questions, solve problems, and realize they're capable of making a difference in the world.
One of my greatest passions is helping children discover that learning can be an adventure. Whether they're exploring a new book, creating a business idea, completing a family adventure, or overcoming a challenge, I hope every child walks away believing in themselves just a little bit more.
I’m originally from Canton, Ohio, and I’m proud of my Italian American roots. A fun fact about me—I danced for twenty years, which taught me discipline, attention to detail, and the joy of expressing yourself. I earned my bachelor's degree from Ohio State University and am beyond honored to be a member of OSU's Dance Team Alumni Society, and Southern Methodist University is where I earned my master's degree. I also love to travel and explore new places, and I’m always excited to dive into a new book. Whether I’m discovering a new destination or getting lost in a great story, I’m constantly inspired by the world around me.
When I'm not working on Enchanted Sol Academy, you'll usually find me with a good book, dreaming up new adventures, spending time with my family, or searching for creative ways to make learning more magical.
